It is only our third game, so it may take some patience."Swansea missed the chance to climb to the summit above Chelsea by drawing 2-2 with Sunderland, needing Michu's fourth goal of the season to salvage a point.West Brom beat Everton 2-0 to go third on goal difference behind Swansea and ahead of City, while West Ham eased past Fulham 3-0 following an encouraging debut from Andy Carroll after his loan move from Liverpool.Wigan drew 2-2 with Stoke in the other game.City was in cruise control in the first half, keeping possession well and deservedly going in front when Tevez's volley was deflected into the path of Toure, who fired home left-footed.However, tiredness appeared to creep into its display in the second half, allowing Bobby Zamora to equalize in the 59th minute for QPR — the team which City beat in dramatic circumstances on the final day of last season to win the title.Tevez crossed for Dzeko to equalize less than two minutes later, before the Argentine glanced in the third in injury time."What we need to take out of this game was how much character and strength we showed," City captain Vincent Kompany said.After a 2-1 loss at Newcastle and a home draw with West Brom, Villas-Boas will have been hoping for much more against Norwich, which had conceded five goals in its only other away game this season — at Fulham.However, Moussa Dembele's 68th-minute goal — a fine effort from the edge of the area on his debut after a ?15 million ($23.8 million) move from Fulham — came slightly against the run of play. And Norwich deserved the point earned by Snodgrass' low finish into the corner.

City chides Milan over Tevez pursuit
LONDON — Manchester City's chairman has criticized AC Milan over its pursuit of Carlos Tevez, whose ongoing insubordination has now cost the striker ?9 million ($14 million) in fines or lost earnings from the club.

APMilan, crosstown rival Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain have been in transfer talks over Tevez, but City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak said Tuesday that he is dissatisfied with the lack of "appropriate" offers.Al Mubarak said in a strongly worded statement that Milan has "developed a misplaced sense of confidence" in the negotiations, and indicated that City is willing to keep Tevez for the remaining 2? years of his contract.That came as one official said City has fined Tevez ?1.2 million ($1.9 million) for the latest episode of misconduct — traveling without permission in November to Argentina, where he is now. He has also missed out on ?1.7 million ($2.7 million) in wages over the last two months, the official said. He spoke on condition of anonymity because the fines are not being publicly discussed.The person said that by handing in a transfer request last season, Tevez also forfeited a ?6 million ($9.4 million) loyalty bonus that would have been due to him under the terms of his contract.The striker was also given a hefty fine for refusing to warm up during a Champions League game at Bayern Munich this season, which led to a massive falling out with manager Roberto Mancini.Tevez's relations with City broke down during last season after the striker said he wanted to leave England to be closer to his family, which moved back to Argentina after failing to settle in Manchester. Milan says Tevez has agreed to deal
Milan, Italy — AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani said Tuesday he has sent a loan request with an option for a permanent move to Manchester City after reaching contract terms with Carlos Tevez."There's an agreement with the player and a short while ago we sent a message with an offer to City: a free loan with the rights for a full transfer under certain conditions," Galliani told the club's official TV station, Milan Channel.City don't want to send Tevez on loan to any club, however, and is looking for him to leave on a permanent deal in the January transfer window.Corriere dello Sport reported that the deal between Milan and Tevez includes a base salary of ?3 million ($4 million) for the second half of this season, then ?5 million ($6.7 million) plus bonuses for the next three seasons.
