Milan says Tevez has agreed to deal

Milan, Italy — AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani said Tuesday he has sent a loan request with an option for a permanent move to Manchester City after reaching contract terms with Carlos Tevez.

"There's an agreement with the player and a short while ago we sent a message with an offer to City: a free loan with the rights for a full transfer under certain conditions," Galliani told the club's official TV station, Milan Channel.

City don't want to send Tevez on loan to any club, however, and is looking for him to leave on a permanent deal in the January transfer window.

Corriere dello Sport reported that the deal between Milan and Tevez includes a base salary of ?3 million ($4 million) for the second half of this season, then ?5 million ($6.7 million) plus bonuses for the next three seasons.
