SHEFFIELD, England — Ronnie O'Sullivan was left needing just two more frames on Monday for a place in the World Championship quarterfinals after surging into an 11-5 lead over Mark Williams.Three-time champion O'Sullivan put himself on course for a last-eight clash with Australia's Neil Robertson, who won the title in 2010, by converting a 5-3 overnight lead into an 11-5 advantage in the best-of-25 frame contest at the Crucible Theatre on Sunday.O'Sullivan started the session with a century and potted another ton, as well as making four other sizeable breaks, before Welsh cuemaster Williams, himself world champion in 2000 and 2003, won the final two frames of the session. But O'Sullivan is now on course to extend his record of not having lost to Williams since 2002, a run that includes three wins at the Crucible.
